Weekly Food Prep: Shrimp and Chicken Stir Fry


Ingredients:

Chicken Strips

Stir Fry Sauce

Shrimp

Vegetables

Seasoning (Ms. Dash and black pepper)


Place shrimp into the skillet and cook at a mid/high temperature. Add seasoning and place cover over skillet while it continues to cook.  Stir shrimp every couple of minutes.


Cut chicken strips into little pieces and follow the same steps used to cook the shrimp.


Plate shrimp and chicken in 2 separate dishes.


Place vegetables into skillet and steam them by placing a cover over it.



Add chicken, shrimp, and stir fry sauce into the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes.


Once it has finished cooking, your food will be ready for prepping.

This week’s dish is very easy and can be prepared, cooked, and prepped within 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • Salmon
  • Tilapia
  • Rice
  • Corn
  • Broccoli

Meat

Firstly, I set the oven at 375 degrees and started seasoning the fish with Mrs. Dash.  I also added a squeeze of lemon and italian dressing.  Lastly, I placed a sheet of alumina foil over the pan and placed it in the oven

Baking time: 25 minutes



Sides

While the fish is baking, I started warming up the vegetables and rice in the microwave.

Warm up time: 5 per bag


Prepping

Once all the food has finished cooking, I placed the food in individual containers and placed them in the freezer.
